Jelani is 16 years old, really bringing home the phrase “The Next Great Generation.”
His comments on the NYC Occupation suggest that part of these protests’ value is simply providing a collective resistance movement for those who weren’t born early enough to rebel as teenagers during the social upheaval of the 1960s. Witnessing the Occupy movement firsthand is at the very least making progress for the political self-consciousness of our young citizens.

How Your Social Media Outbursts Influence TV Networks
With great power comes great responsibility.
Now, if only that great power would bring great TV.

Either way, we are surely in a new era of audience-hood in which we see what we want to see.

AC360 Has the Cutest Giggle Ever
It’s a little girly. But, high pitch aside, the blue-eyed babe sat laughing at his teleprompter last night in what was possibly the most adorable thing CNN has ever aired.

Moody’s Warns Student Loans May Be The Next Financial Bubble To Burst
Yeah… could’a seen that coming a mile a way. Let’s try to spread the word about this.
HuffPo: Record borrowing by college students who are graduating without jobs may lead to the next financial crisis, according to a recent report by Moody’s Analytics.
A Very Special Episode: "Dinosaurs"
Pop Culture analysis at its very best, brought to you by the surprisingly lucid writers at the Onion A.V. Club.

Who knew that Dinosaurs was a Jim Henson production, and that “there were Dinosaurs episodes about mating rituals, aging, puberty, masturbation, religious fanaticism, sexual harassment, war, consumer frenzy, steroids, bureaucracy, immigration, racism, conformity, corporate malfeasance, youth rebellion, and vulgar entertainment”?
I’m bummed I was too young to absorb and observe this interesting Simpsons-meets-the-Flintstones offspring.

@DonLemonCNN Tweets About The Daily Show
Jon Stewart did a hilarious smack-down of how awful the CNN writers are by showing anchor Don Lemon (who is both gorgeous and intelligent) in a series of segments, most of which included him making fun of either other anchors, correspondents or silly bits.
Obviously, he agrees with the rest of us, that Hogwarts’ tuition costs are the last thing they should be talking about on the news, what with all the other shit we’re dealing with. We all believe that with CNN’s quest to be the true “center” of the media landscape, they’ve just become boring and irrelevant… and the Daily Show’s clips like this just makes a sad situation giggly.
But, what’s really funny is Don Lemon’s Twitter stream. There he is, watching the Daily Show, like every other Millennial in the country, and then… “OMG.” They’re making fun of me on the Daily Show!

Love this:Harry Potter-izing the Debt Crisis
Basically, the new Tea Party wing is Voldemort, and the old-style Republicans are Narcissa Malfoy: in that they care more about Draco (The United States) more than the pure cohesion of the Republican Party (Voldemort’s Army). We need those old-style Republicans to split away from the rest of the…
Whole Foods Parking Lot - Music Video [HD] (by FogandSmogFilms)
This is RE: a potential story for TNGG (Whole Foods v. Trader Joe’s) and I think it captures some of the inanities of the organic commodity culture. Who even ate kale before it was kool??
